The Old Cider Press is located close to Crackington Haven, on
Cornwall's rugged North Coastline. Originally a barn, part of a small courtyard
of buildings for the nearby farm, now converted into a luxurious home.
The building has been meticulously restored by the highly acclaimed local builder,
Norman Bellis. Using original materials such as the stone walls, timber A frames
and local slate, together with high quality modern fittings, such as the hardwood
double glazed windows, he has produced a building which meets the highest modern
expectations, and yet blends in perfectly with its natural surroundings.
From the front door, you can view the Atlantic Ocean. On a clear
day, the Island of Lundy can be seen, some 19 miles away. Inside, every detail
has been taken care of to make sure you have the most enjoyable break away.
