I have chosen an objective criteria for inclusion . This site only lists those with over 70% quality grading from the AA in 2001. These are only ones that the AA defines as being of "high quality", and there are only 34 such in the whole of the county.

This web site will only tell you about the good places to stay- they are"the Cream" - which like the clotted cream for which we are also famous, represents the best the county has to offer the visitor.

If you want lots of information on what to do then go to our link above a great web site with virtually everything you need to know to enjoy a stay. It has everything Cornish from National Trust properties to drives, golf to museums, walks to pubs.

The other areas of pets welcome and "on the sea" have been garnered for other sources. Whilst on the sea hotels hopefully remain on the sea, pets welcome certainly needs to be checked if you want to book - the proprietor may have had a nasty experience the week before and banned dogs suddenly!
