Cornwall Hotels where Pets are Welcome

If you own a dog and want to bring it with you to your hotel, it can be a frustrating job wading through hotel information to see which hotels will accept your pet. This site is gives you a choice of hotels that will accept your pet. Years of running a hotel myself, leads me to assume"pets" means "dogs" , as not many parrots, cats, guinea pigs, or boa constrictors have come my way. So do warn the hotel if you are bringing anything exotic

The word of advice I would add, is that hotels do change their policies, so do check that the hotel is happy to accept your dog in advance, do not just turn up with pooch in tow. Every hotel keeper has the Basil Fawlty inside him, and if a dog has just chewed the carpet of his best room, then he may be less well disposed towards dogs than he was last week.

Some will charge for dogs, usually without supplying food or bedding, because that hotel keeper believes that there is a certain "clean up" cost involved with dogs. Every pet owner is convinced that their dog is well behaved, every hotel owner remains to be convinced, so do discuss your pets and its requirements with the hotel.
